Hi, I’m Nur!

I’m an oil painter based in Aarhus, Denmark, creating peaceful (and slightly whimsical) scenes. Think meadows and fields where animals wear sunglasses, scarves, or boots. Occasionally, a still life of food sneaks in too.

Why “Sirup”?

Sirup is the Danish word for “syrup”
To me, it evokes slow mornings, soft light, and the comfort of something familiar. I try to capture that same feeling in my paintings, often through the warm, golden glow of sunlight.

I hope my work brings you a moment of joy, calm, or inspiration—maybe even all three.
